On Time, On Budget? You Choose!
The art of choosing to win verses hoping it happens.
Scheduling and hitting budget are intertwined. You hit the schedule, very likely you will hit the budget. But for many companies hitting both is like chasing unicorns, so unlikely we don’t really even try.  In this seminar we will be looking at both and how success is really about the choices we make in process. We will look at the difference between hoping and making it happen. By attending you will come away with these answers:
    • What is the most important ingredient to success?
    • What are 2 actions you must take to win this battle?
    • Specifics actions to take for making and hitting schedules
    • A look at the impact of schedule on budget

Managing People: The Hardest Thing We Do!
Running any business is tough but it feels like remodeling is the hardest.  Among the many things we do, managing people is the toughest.  In some cases people come to us “self managed” but in most cases employees need oversight. This seminar will focus on two main discussions: Accountability and how to build it in your company and Building a culture that will retain good people and attract others.  From the seminar you will come away with:
    • A blue print for real accountability that actually produces change
    • An in-depth look at a study done by Gallup of what motivates people
    • A lively discussion of how to implement those actions in your company
    • A look from the same study at some basic actions that great managers take
