    President's Report

    Greetings NARI PNW Members,

My name is Mike Andreyuk, owner of ReCraft Home Remodeling, and your new Board President.  It is my honor to lead this great organization for the next year.  We are already a month into 2021 and although we all still face challenges related to the pandemic and social unrest, I know the Board of Directors and committee members are passionate about continuing to bring you the best possible 2021 that we can. We’ve already got several social and educational opportunities scheduled including our Annual Evening of Excellence – CotY Awards this month (sign up now!) and our ever-popular Golf Tournament is locked in for July.  Please stay connected and continue to join us at our Membership Meetings and our Roundtable events too. Although they are virtual for now we hope to connect in person as soon as is responsible to do so.  Here’s to a safe and prosperous year ahead and look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Join the NARI PNW Workforce Committee:

Would you like to encourage youth to enter the construction Industry as their future career?  If so, we can use your help!  The Workforce Committee is focused on bringing the benefits of our industry to the classroom of our local high schools and community colleges.  Currently our opportunities are virtual, so we need creative individuals to help us reach students through online career fairs and other career events.  In the future, we need help creating a traveling trade show/career event that we can take to the students when they are able to meet in person.  If you have the energy and passion to help NARI Pacific NW grow in these endeavors, please contact Shawnda Horn ([email protected]) to learn more.  We would love to have you join us!

    ReFIT Project Spotlight

This small property in SE Portland is home to three women, a mother and her two adult daughters. All three of them suffer disabilities, thus learning to rely on each other to overcome obstacles in their daily lives. This wheelchair ramp was constructed on Saturday, January 16th by 6 different volunteer NARI members. Thank you for all your hard work and expertise!
